Bhubaneswar: The state government has effected a major reshuffle in the rank of Conservators of Forests.
While a few senior officers of Chief Conservator of Forests (CCF) status have been shifted, seven freshly promoted officers have been given their places of postings.
The Department of Forest & Environment notified their promotions and postings on Thursday after Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) cleared their promotions more than a month ago.
According to the notification, Subash Chandra Mishra has been promoted to the CCF rank and given in-situ promotion as executive director of the Odisha Mining Corporation.
Rebecca Nayar has been promoted to CCF rank and posted as CCF Monitoring, Evaluation and Internal Vigilance in the PCCF office.
After his promotion, Ajit Bharthuar has been posted as Regional CCF, Baripada.
On promotion, V Raja Reddy is posted as Regional CCF, Koraput while Shravan Kumar Sinha has been posted as Director Operations in the Odisha Forest Development Corporation after his promotion to the CCF rank.
Pandav Behera, on his promotion will take charge of Regional CCF, Angul.
AOF Bakhla has been given in-situ promotion as Regional CCF Bhawanipatna.
All these officers will be joining their duties with immediate effect. Non-performance Mission Director of the Odisha Bamboo Development Agency (OBDA) KR Singhhas been posted as director of CCF Training & Development.
Sushil Kumar Popli has been posted as OBDA Mission Director.
Bairagi Charan Prusty has been posted as CCF Kendu Leaf, while R Nagaraj Reddy is new the CCF (Nodal) to take care of crucial clearances in the PCCF office.
SP Mohapatra is the new CF Finance & Budget Audit in PCCF office.
The crucial job of CCF CAMPA has gone to Sarat Patra, the notification added.
