Bhubaneswar: The All India Chess Federation’s national chess coaching camp for the players of world youth chess championship to be held at Turkey in November, concluded at OAS Bhawan here on Monday.
A total of 10 players including three Odisha players participated in the seven-day camp.
We are hopeful that the coaching camp will help them in fetching medals for our country, said the organizers.
State’s international master S Satyapragyan and woman grand master R Aarthie of Tamil Nadu assisted in the camp.
The participants were Debasis Das, Utkal Ranjan Sahoo, Sankalp Baliarsingh of Orissa, Shiny Das of Tripura, Shreyansh Jain Daklia of Chattisgarh, and Sayantan Das, Diptayan Ghosh, Arpita Mukherjee, Khusi Dharewa and Mitrabha Guha all from West Bengal.
Among others, Sibabrata Dash, Vivek Tibarewal, coordinator of the camp and Saroj Behera were present.
