Calamities claims 49,736 lives, property worth Rs 8814 cr in three decades: Report

Bhubaneswar: A total of 49,736 people died and property worth Rs 8,814 crore has been lost in Orissa due to natural calamities in a span of 30 years from 1970 to 2007.
