Bhubaneswar: Odia language satellite channel Kamyab TV has added two new mega serials to its bouquet of programmes.
The first serial Ganga Jamuna Saraswati depicts the life, aspirations and emotions of three young girls from different sections of the society in the backdrop of the lifestyle of the common people in the Mahanadi Delta area.
The second one Dhara Shravan is about the status of women’s emancipation in our society.
The story is woven around the life of a young educated widow and highlights the travails of women attempting to lead a respectable life in the male dominated society characterised by gender discrimination and age old traditions.
The managing director of the channel Manoj Das was present in the launch ceremony with the two directors of the serials and producer Rohit Gandhi.
